Fiction and Formation

If you would like to read great works of fiction and poetry in a way that encourages growth in Christ, this course is for you!  Each session we look at short stories and poems in relation to the Holy Scriptures and excerpts from the spiritual classics of the Christian tradition, reading and relating them with like-minded friends in openness to the directives and disclosures of the Holy Spirit.  Come and be blessed!  "We will be spending several sessions talking together about Willa Cather's beautiful meditative novel Death Comes for the Archbishop, and we will also enjoy a very humorous tale by Nathaniel Hawthorne and a touching story by Charles Chesnutt, as well as works by several modern authors."
