Entering Into Spiritual Childhood

Dear Associates, Friends and Benefactors,

To begin a journey implies that we have some goal in mind. There is a definite destination we want to reach and, despitethe detours we may have to take along the way, we have every hope of getting there if we follow our map. The goal of the way of spiritualchildhood is to live in Christian simplicity, that the soul through grace may abandon itself wholly to God. Abandonment means thatall my intellect knows or contemplates is of God or related to God; all my will loves and desires is God-centered or is loved and desiredbecause of God; all I hold in memory is God’s goodness and his merits manifested in Christ crucified and the obedience and poverty that were his.
